We have told our kids for many many years that we have enough to pay all our expenses and likely will be able to share some money with them, which we have also done.
We have set up our estate plan and showed them where those documents are. They know H has a pension that covers him and that I will get a % of that it I survive him. They know we have significant assets and live comfortably and debt-free, owning our house and other real estate.
They don’t seem very interested in much info beyond that. We have supported D all her life and plan to leave her enough assets to continue to support her for the rest of her life due to medical disability.
