ACH pull takes about a week to settle.
A push from Ally when I need to move money in that direction (which is rarely anymore) is delivered next day and available the day after.
Can’t make a contribution to my Roth IRA at Vanguard directly. Still a decent HYSA option, but nothing more. I’m staying with my Fidelity CMA for the duration.
Inability to directly contribute to IRA is an inconvenience, but a once-a-year one. Push to Ally (or another external checking) settles next day, and then I can contribute from there.

Otherwise, 100% of my monthly utilities, credit card (including BofA) and insurance bills are auto-deducted from CP with no need to micromanage and no risk of overdraft suddenly not working that has been reported for CMA from time to time in that gargantuan thread.
The credit card auto-deduction just caught my attention. How does one set that up with the credit card company? Are there options, for example, to pay either Last Statement Balance or Outstanding Balance?

I wait until my pension payment posts in my checking account and then search the last CC statement interval for any credits and then manually pay the amount of the last statement balance minus the credits. (This gives me about a ten-day buffer before the due date.)
