Personal Consumer Issues • Medicare non-participating

I am looking at a particular doctor to see, and for Medicare, his site says "non-participating using Medicare limited fee schedule." I have Medicare plus Medigap G. What does this mean for me?
Plans F and G cover the 15% excess charge, so it doesn't mean anything to you.

The other Medigap plans do not cover the excess charge, so those policyholders would have to pay the 15% out-of-pocket if they see a non-participating provider.
