Personal Investments • Inflation, Fed rate, and Bond ETF Dividend / SEC Yields

Here's where I get real fuzzy. ... Since Inflation is currently at 3.00%, and FOMC dot plot suggests a 2.25% drop over the next 2 years to 3.1%, is it possible to roughly extrapolate the total returns going forward?
Inflation WAS 3%. In fact, that number is past of last month's rate multiplied by 12. It's not a prediction of what current inflation is and only applied to you if you happened to have the exact expenses at the proportion that goes into the calculation.

Predicting the future is hard. :happy
