It is kind of ironic that TIAA stopped selling life insurance.
I let our term life policies expire when it was clear we no longer needed them.
If I was in your shoes, I'd probably do the "easy" thing and just cash your policy out. Or just let it ride. One reason to keep it is if you were going to be over the tax free estate tax limit. I think I read someplace that life insurance proceeds do not get considered as part of your estate.
