I haven't noticed any special treatment beyond what is listed on the Preferred Rewards website. I've slowly been getting pulled into using BofA more, but the only benefit I'm noticing for in-bank services is very large network and discount on safe deposit box. Tried redeeming paper bonds recently and they said you need to be an account holder for at least 2 years (!) whereas nearby TD Bank is only 6 months.Has anyone switched to BoA/Merrill as their day to day bank? Is it as horrible as people make it out to be, or is it just another big bank?
If you are “platinum honors” do you get any sort of priority customer service?
