Non-US Investing • Career break to maximise time with kids?

There is an important point.

The kids learn by the parents as they act and not as they talk.

In other words you’ll be a model for your kids.

I went to school with the children of investment bankers, lawyers etc.

I wouldn't say never being home, and downloading the entire business of childrearing onto the (usually female) partner was necessarily a good model for one's children. Or is that what you meant?
