Personal Investments • Fidelity Rewards Visa 2% to 529?

Sorry for resurrecting this but I was curious to know: if I contribute these rewards to my HSA, technically these would be considered 'pre-tax' contributions right? So if I wanted to contribute towards my yearly HSA max contribution amount in favor of reducing or minimizing my pre-tax HSA deductions at work (to basically bring home more per paycheck) I could do this right? But I guess the caveat is that I would have more taxable income?

So I guess it's still the best option just to contribute these funds into a 529? Or UTMA?
