Tello lets you enroll and cancel the plans at a whim. You will have to wait for their SIM card to arrive before activating the plan, but you can get 300 minutes + 2GB data for just $7. Cheaper than tracfone plan.

Thanks. I have my daughter in Tello. It is a cheaper plan, but I also need a cheap phone to use the SIM. A used flip phone seems to be aroud $50, so that would be something like $50 + $7 Tello + $3 Tello Sim or $60. Used phone can be a hit or miss.

With tracfonc, that would be $20 + $15 = $35. After the phone is unlocked, I could switch to Tello. There may be HSN and QVC deals. However, most of the deals seems to be to get 2 phones. I only need one.
