Greetings all,
DH recently had a brief hospitalization while traveling out-of-town. Fortunately, he received good care, and the care was also considered to be in-network with our insurance plan, but of course there are some out-of-pocket expenses.
I just received the first bill from the hospital and it has a page for something called AblePay. It says that we can save up to 13% on out-of-pocket costs on all our bills.
We do not have this program where we live, and I have no experience with it. It is interesting because it looks like we would save 10% just by using our credit card with them. Given this was a couple days of hospitalization, that 10% will add up.
Has anyone else heard of it or used it? It seems to be all over the country, just not here. The providers we are dealing with are in SE Pennsylvania.
TIA
