Be prepared to explain in detail exactly why those deposits "failed" and to prove that you actually had sufficient funds in the relevant bank accounts.
Fidelity is not in the business of scamming people for the most part and the whole situation does look like potential fraud of one sort or another from their perspective. However, I don't like how Fidelity treats deposits and funds available generally and I definitely see how a new user could be misled.
