...does anyone have any suggestions to identify the perpetrators?
Stay in touch with the police. Be persistent and polite. With the information you've provided here so far, the odds are in your favor.

(Small rant coming up here): And I'd encourage you to see this through. Burglary is a VERY serious crime. A person who would enter your home to steal from you is a dangerous criminal. A 17-year-old came close to killing me during a break-in and burglary at my home some years ago in which I walked in on the crime in progress. Do not think of this as a minor incident simply because you weren't harmed. These kids pose a danger to others.
It's likely these teenagers have done this before, have been caught and gone through the legal system at some level. If identified and charged, they could be sent off to a residential facility for minors, which is not something they'd want to do. Repeat offenders get sent off to programs far from home, at least in Florida. Do they learn anything from being incarcerated? Some do.
