Non-US Investing • Is Roth conversion good idea for a US citizen moving to the UK?

Also, I'm ignoring the Irish tax consequences of conversions while I'm living here because my Irish accountant specializing in US expats said the conversions would only be taxable in Ireland if I remitted the money here (since I’m non-domiciled tax resident). And since I don't intend to retire in Ireland, this seems like a non-issue.
